Fighting fire with fire

MovieMachine is a workflow + support group for visual storytellers to learn about generated imagery. The tutorial covers character creation, making your own art compatible to latent space, Ai filmmaking experiences and even some animation by using Ai as a randomization engine. That randomness is getting more predictable every day so stay tuned for exciting new features as they get updated.

Disclaimer: I am not an Ai developer and do not support or advertise private Ai unless it’s for educational purposes. All our generated imagery is available through our Discord under a Creative Commons Share-Alike license with some exceptions for artists inside the private Green Lodge.

As working creatives, generated imagery is only the start of a competition against robots. This divide will create the haves and have nots between corporate media giants and their indie counterparts. MovieMachine is my attempt to level the playing field by enabling great storytelling that’s competitive to the black boxes inside these massive studios exclusively with publicly available consumer Ai tools like Midjourney, Runway and Adobe.

Not everyone will agree with my approach but I hope you see that my intention isn’t to horde intellectual property. We simply link the Ai to our art and the rest are verbal instructions on how to manipulate those images.

Warning: This last segment refers to self-harm.

Three of my friends are no longer with us due to the abuses of Hollywood. I strongly believe this tech could have saved them by giving a means to tell their stories without the odds stacked against them or having to spend their lifesavings to gamble on their dreams. That’s why their names are at the bottom of this website.

Take care everyone.
